I bring over 25 years experience as a counselor, educator and now life coach. Born in Corning New York I hold an M.S.Ed from SUNY Brockport and a Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University. My coaching training has been through MentorCoach, recognized by the International Coaches Federation which builds, supports and preserves the highest ethical and professional standards in the coaching industry. I am also a member of The Coaching Training's Institute Co-Active Network and the European Network for Positive Psychology. My Life Coaching is proactive and direct while offering a humorous, sensitive and holistic approach.
I am empathic and intuitive and a very optimistic person with an ability to find the joy and appreciation for all of life's lessons. I have learned a great deal in my life from raising two children into productive young adults to surviving a divorce where I am still friends to this day with my children's father. Life is about choice. We make decisions every day. Sometimes we make decisions to please other people and put ourselves on the back burner. I know what it takes to have balance- giving to others while making sure that my own important needs are met.
